Located in the heart of the National Historical Whaling Park along the cobblestone streets of historic downtown New Bedford, Tia Maria's European Café opened in September of 2013. Tia Maria's is a food centric portuguese family owned restaurant where we greet our customers by name. All our dishes are made to order and we use local and organic ingredients whenever possible. Breakfast and lunch is served Monday through Saturday and Breakfast only on Sunday. We're also open for dinner every Friday and Saturday night until 8pm! Complement your meal with one of our many beer offerings or check out our wine list that is both varied and distinctive with many Portuguese fine wines to select from. Dinner reservations are not required but highly recommended. Craving something sweet?
